Post-Nuptial Agreements

A couple can decide post-marriage to enter into an agreement similar to a pre-nuptial agreement.  This is called a post-nuptial agreement and contains many of the same elements as a pre-nuptial agreement.  Circumstances that may lead a couple to pursue a post-marital agreement include a significant change in financial status; a career change or professional promotion; a substantial inheritance;  or when a marriage becomes troubled but the couple wants more time to decide their future status.

As with pre-nuptial agreements, our team is skilled at handling all elements of post-nuptial agreements including disclosure, valuation, drafting, negotiation and resolution.
