Elon Musk has allegedly been keeping his distance from Ashley St. Clair, who recently claimed she gave birth to his 13th child last year.
“Elon met Ashley after she interviewed him, and then he DMd her and they stayed in touch after," a source exclusively tells Parade. "He is very intrigued by intellectual women and likes to spend time chatting with them for hours. Ashley’s friends knew she was pregnant, but she was not telling even some of her closest friends who the father was. She was very vague about it when asked, and some of these friends even knew Elon.”
The insider adds, "He’s obsessed with having more children and multiplying himself. One minute he was affectionate with her and the next ghosting her. He talks to her when he feels like it."
Earlier this month, St. Clair, a 26-year-old author, posted via X about Musk allegedly fathering her baby.
According to the source, St. Clair has been so vocal about Musk "because he's been going silent" amid her allegations.
St. Clair's attorney, Karen Rosenthal, tells Parade, "Ashley protected the privacy of her baby and family throughout her pregnancy and after, until a tabloid indicated that they were preparing to run a story without her consent."
Parade has also made multiple attempts to reach Musk for comment.
"Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father," St. Clair claimed in her Feb. 14 statement in part, adding, "I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment," her post continued. "I ask that the media honor our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting."
Musk, 53, is already a father to 12 other children, one of whom died in infancy. The SpaceX founder welcomed his first six children with former wife Justine Wilson. He also shares three children with ex Grimes, as well as a set of twins with Neuralink director Shivon Zilis.
